A 2-day Crater Rim Senaru trek is the shortest trekking package. The main goals of this hike are to enjoy the sunset and sunrise from the crater rim Rinjani. The trek starts from and returns to the same trail, Senaru village.

- This trekking program is not suitable for beginner trekkers

Itinerary of Trekking Crater Rim Senaru 2 days:
Pick up from any hotel in Lombok, Airport, and Lombok port – Transfer to Senaru basecamp ( Day 01 )
Senaru – Crater Rim Senaru ( Day 02 )
5-6 hours walk, about 9,2km from Senaru gate to Senaru crater Rim ( 2.641m )
- Breakfast at our campsite
- Registration at the RTC ( Rinjani Trekking Centre Senaru 601m )
- Prepare for trekking at 07.30 – 08.00 AM
- Walking in the open views for 30 minutes with green plants of coffee trees, Bamboo, etc
- Walk 30 minutes more to the gate of the tropical rain forest, a 15-minute short break
- Walking through the jungle will be shadowed by the sun for 3 hours to POS 2 ( MONTONG SATAS 1.500m )
- Break at POS 2, prepare fresh fruits and soft drinks by our Guide and porter
- Continue to POS 3 ( 2,000m ) passing the tropical forest. Local strawberry ( June, July, August ), 3 hours walk. Lunch will be prepared at POS 3.
- After 1 hour and 30 minutes, take a rest, continue to crater Rim of Senaru ( 2.641m ) for a hour walk
- Camping and overnight at crater RIM Senaru, enjoy an amazing sunset over 3 Gili’s and Mount Agung Bali
Crater Senaru – Senaru village ( Day 03 )
5-6 hours walk from the crater rim to Senaru village, 6.2 km.
- Enjoy the sunrise at Senaru Crater Rim with views of Segara Anak Lake
- Breakfast at Senaru Crater Rim
- Descend to Senaru by the same route
- Arrive at Senaru village approx 13.00 PM.
- Transfer to Senggigi area.
