Surf Lesson private class design one coach for one student. Private classes are recommended for students who wish to have a more personal experience, and make progress faster for absolute beginners and are available for students who wish to refresh their knowledge from past surf

Make the most of your time by having your own instructor for your first surf lesson.
We offer three different services for beginning surfers of all ages, applicable to different target levels of skills. ( semi-private and group class )

What are the benefits of joining our surfing class?

We provide good surf equipment for every student:
- Many sizes of surfboards from 9,8 to 7’4 of soft board for beginners and 9,2 to 7,0 for intermediate level
- Rash vest and long pants to protect you from the sun.
- Reef shoes to make sure you are safe.
You become one of our donors. Nayaka Surf School actively distributes books and stationery to orphaned children. We actively help feed homeless dogs at the Lombok Camari Shelter.
Surf Recording. You will have free photos and videos for analysis. Only for levels 2 and 3.

Beginner surf lesson, Basic intro to surfing – 2 hours

Surf Lessons plan:

1. Intro (theory ) basic theory of surf for 10 minutes.
2. Beach practicals ( 20 minutes )
3. Go surfing – 50 minutes.
4. Break for a drink – 10 minutes.
5. Second season for 50 minutes
6. Finish

Topic level 1:

The different designs and functions of the surfboard
Basic board skills:
1. Body position on paddling
2. How to paddle efficiently
3. In what way do you have to take off
4. Good body positioning on riding the waves.
How to get into a basic wave and ride the wave
To observe and analyze the surfing area and evaluate the safest place to enter and exit the area
Safety measures and surfing etiquette

Beginner Surf Lesson ( Surf Course Level 2 )

Duration : 3 lessons – each lesson takes 2-3 hours

Take a look at our surf camp package 4 days 3 nights and a surf trip for beginners. On the package, you will have 3x surf lessons and 3 nights’ accommodation.

Topic level 2:

How to catch your wave in a safe environment
To understand the risks of surfing
To handle and control your board, to understand the beach, the waves, and the ocean its conditions

Beginner Surf Lesson ( Surf Course Level 3 )

Duration: 6 Lessons – each lesson takes 2-3 hours
This course is for anyone who is serious about becoming a surfer. Good for beginners to intermediate-level surfers and you will surf 6 days in raw. Easy package, you can join our surf camp package for 7 days, 6 days, and 5 days. On the surf camp package, you will have 6x surf lessons, and 6 nights accommodation.

Topic Level 3:

Catch and surf unbroken waves
Take the “drop”
Ride the “wave face”
Perform bottom and top turns
Know which waves you have to avoid and which waves are possible to catch
Understand the “lineup” and advanced safety measures

The price includes:

Pick up in Senggigi area
Surf board rental
Surf instructor
Wet suit/shirt
Booties/reef shoes

Photos and Videos of your surfing class.

The price doesn’t include:

Airport transfer
Board shorts

Term of Payment:

Deposit payment you can pay to our Bank Account or PayPal.
We are not responsible for any taxes.
The balance you must pay in cash on arrival.

Cancelation policy:

Full refund if you cancel the booking within 5 days.
We will charge 50% if you cancel the booking within 4 days
A full charge of deposit if you cancel within 48 hours.
We are not responsible for flight or luggage delays.

i loved everything about my surf week in lombok! the instructors were super friendly and cheerful, making you feel immediately at home, and they were helpful and patient in teaching the basics and in correcting the mistakes, always with a smile. everything went smoothly, from the arrival to the hotel to the daily transfers to the beach. i surfed only 6 days and i fell in love with it, and i’m sure it’s in great part thanks to them. i can’t wait to be back, and i miss everything about it already.

Dit is een hele fijne surfschool voor alle niveaus. Hele leuke instructeurs die goed weten wat ze doen. Senggigi is de mooiste plek waar ik heb gesurfd. Ik kreeg ook nog beeldmateriaal van de video analyse toegestuurd. Ik kom graag nog eens terug!

I did 4 days of surfing with them mainly at Klui beach. I’ve done some surfing but still am very much a beginner. I have taken quite a few surfing lessons in many places mostly in the US and LATAM. A bit in Bali. This school is up there with my top favorites. Wayan and his team (Bagoes the camera and Bayu another instructor) are knowledgeable, seasoned instructors that will give you valuable feedback and tips. They’re also very nice people to spend time with. They provide wetsuits and reef shoes which I find helpful for the rocky bottom and very sunny weather. The videos taken of you surfing were also very useful to give you insight for how you did. Klui / Senggigi in April were quite flat but with some decent, mellow waves on a good day, perfect for real beginners. I think for beginners-intermediates you need to check with them when is a good time for bigger waves. Price is higher than your average beach surf shops in Indo but you’ll get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a surf school in Lombok to try out surfing or up your beginner/intermediate skill, this is the one.

This is my second time returning to this place. The last time I visited was a year ago, and my surfing skills were quite rusty. Fortunately, the instructors were very patient and helpful in correcting my mistakes, and I was back riding the waves in no time. They also take pictures and videos of you surfing that you get to keep. I will definitely return again and would highly recommend Nayaka to anyone who wants to learn how to surf, or an intermediate surfer who wants to take their surfing skills to the next level!

Das Surfcamp hat richtig viel Spaß gemacht und war auch lehrreich. Die Surflehrer waren alle nett und das Equipment relativ neu. Die Unterkunft war gut, lediglich das Frühstück war nicht ganz so toll. Der Service war aber sehr zuvorkommend. Nur etwas Obst wäre noch toll gewesen.
