- Traditional Welcome. Upon arrival at Wae Rebo, you must undergo the Wae Lu’u ceremony led by the village chief. This is a ritual of permission to honor ancestors and seek protection for your stay.
- Communal Living. Expect to sleep in a Mbaru Niang (conical drum house). Accommodations are communal dormitory-style on mats with basic blankets and pillows provided.
- Simple Lifestyle. Meals are authentic and basic, typically featuring locally grown rice, eggs, and world-class Wae Rebo coffee.
- Digital Disconnect. There is no mobile signal or Wi-Fi. Electricity is usually limited to 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

- Spider Web Rice Fields (Lingko). You will view unique circular “spider web” paddies from a hilltop viewpoint. Expect a short but steep climb of 250–300 steps to reach the best vantage point.
- Nuca Molas (Mules Island). Expect an “untouched” tropical experience with wide savannas, white sand beaches, and an iconic lighthouse. It is a sanctuary for wildlife, including deer and rare birds.

Day 01. Labuan Bajo – Lembor – Wae Rebo Village

- Go forward to Denge Village, transfer to the starting point of the trek to Wae Rebo with a motorbike
- Begin trekking to Wae Rebo Village (2.5 – 3 hours)

Day 02. Wae Rebo Village – Nuca Molas

- Layered Clothing. Wae Rebo is roughly 1,100m above sea level. At nights can drop to 10°C–15°C (50°F–59°F). Bring a warm jacket, socks, and long pants.
- Footwear. Wear sturdy hiking shoes or trainers with good grip for the rocky and potentially muddy uphill trek. Bring flip-flops for use inside the village and on the island.
- Power Solutions. Electricity in Wae Rebo is limited (typically 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM). Carry a high-capacity power bank and extra camera batteries.
