How to get to Komodo island?

Getting to Komodo Island is only available by boat from Labuan Bajo. There are two options to get to Labuan Bajo, by flight and by Slow Ferry. To get to Komodo island you should come to Labuan Bajo first.

There are lots of hotels and guest houses in Labuan Bajo. You can find a basic hotel to a 4-star hotel in Labuan Bajo. Booking in advance is the best due Labuan Bajo is always busy.

Can we get close to the Komodo dragons?

Komodo Dragon is a wild animal that can be aggressive and dangerous. Keeping a safe distance between 3-5 meters is recommended.

What is the best time to visit Komodo Island?

April to June is the perfect time to visit Komodo National Park. The island is green with comfortable temps. The weather is cold and fresh at night. July to August is the high season and hot season.

July to September. This month is Komodo mating season.

September to December is the end of the dry season.
