Is it possible to learn to surf without a coach?
Yes, you can learn to surf by watching others, but it takes longer. Surfing techniques and safety while surfing can only be achieved if you learn from experienced surfers. So we highly recommend learning to surf with a coach to be safer.
Is it safe to learn to surf in Senggigi?
You should know that the surf spots around Senggigi are coral reefs. If you want to learn surfing, it is better to make sure whether the surf school has reef shoes. Sometimes, trivial things can make your vacation uncomfortable. Bringing reef shoes is also a good option.
