Primary and top Goals – 3 days Komodo trip.
1. Wildlife encounters
- See Komodo dragons: The most sought-after goal is to view the world’s largest lizard in its natural habitat. Most trips include a guided trek on either Komodo Island to observe these animals safely.

- Witness flying foxes at sunset. At Kalong Island, travelers can watch thousands of bats (flying foxes). They emerge from the mangroves and fill the sky at dusk.

- Spot diverse marine life. Snorkeling and dive sites like Menjerite, Siaba Island ( known as “Turtle City”). The Island offers the chance to see vibrant coral reefs, sea turtles, and colorful fish.

- Swim with manta rays. Trips typically stop at Manta Point. You can snorkel or dive with graceful manta rays that gather in the cooler waters.

2. Iconic landscapes and island exploration
- Trek Kelor Island: Short, steep hike, incredible panoramic view from the top.

- Hike Padar Island. Many travelers aim for an early morning trek to the summit of Padar Island. Enjoy the panoramic views of the curving bays and surrounding islands, often at sunrise.

- Relax on Pink Beach. Visiting this famous beach, where millions of tiny red coral fragments give the sand a soft.

- Visit the Taka Makassar sandbar: This crescent-shaped sandbar offers a unique setting for swimming in shallow, crystal-clear turquoise water.

3. The liveaboard experience – 3 days Komodo trip.
- Immersive exploration: As most itineraries are liveaboard tours, a key goal is to experience life on a traditional phinisi boat. This provides an intimate way to explore the national park’s remote areas. Enjoy spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the deck.
- Relax and disconnect: With limited or no Wi-Fi, the trip provides an opportunity for a digital detox. Allowing for full immersion in nature.
- Efficient travel: A multi-day liveaboard is the most efficient way to access the national park’s highlights, balancing adventure and relaxation.
